Valencia can make special cantor appearances and give choir voice lessons to improve the quality of the musical experience of your mass. During an Easter mass in Thousand Oaks last year, the priest paused before his homily to acknowledge the beauty and grace of Valencia’s voice. It was quite an honor and indicative of the positive impact of her voice on the congregation.

 

It is suggested to have Valencia visit your parish to be a guest cantor, perform a voice lesson for the choir, and hold a fundraising concert within one weekend to maximize the impact. Specific plans can be made depending upon the needs of your church.

Classically-trained soprano Valencia Vas recorded her debut Crossover Classical album, “Reflections” by combining her artistic diversity with her depth in education. Vas, a devout Catholic, received degrees at Westminster Choir College and the University of Southern California, where she received talent-base scholarships. She has also performed in operas, off-Broadway shows, and contemporary pop settings. Being raised a catholic and practicing her faith strongly everyday, Valencia incorporates her sincerity and appreciation for the love taught by Jesus Christ in her music.
